Bar Avant & Aprés Bar are two sides of the same coin, yin and yang. Julia Momosé, of Chicago’s Kumiko, set out to create these concepts to balance each other out within Olly Olly’s unique space.

Avant is bright and colorful, a focal point of the market, offering a wide selection of aperitifs and low ABV cocktails – a perfect space to take in the hustle and bustle of Olly Olly. Aprés by contrast has a more subdued atmosphere, wrapped in dark wood with velvet accents, tucked away in a private corner of the hall. Those in the know can enjoy refined relaxation with a menu focusing more on classic cocktails, as well as absinthe service.

French influence can be felt on both lists of Momosé’s cocktails, as well as sprinklings of Japanese ingredients, drawing from her background and upbringing. Whatever your mood, Bar Avant & Aprés Bar will have a drink to match.
