Elsie Rooftop is an homage to Elsie de Wolfe, the pioneering interior designer who revolutionized the field by introducing a more feminine, lighter, and simpler style that broke away from the ornate Victorian decor of her time. Often referred to as Lady Mendle, de Wolfe was a celebrated socialite in New York and Paris, and her influential book, The House in Good Taste, is still considered a classic in the field. Our rooftop venue honors de Wolfe’s timeless legacy by providing a stylish and sophisticated setting for our distinguished guests to gather and celebrate life’s pleasures.
