In 2005, DaVinci’s opened its doors as a quaint 1000 square foot pizzeria restaurant. Though the restaurant started small, our patrons continually gave the establishment rave reviews reinforcing DaVinci’s quick success. Customers were so in love with the food, they requested a space where families could sit and enjoy the food and service. In 2008, management started an expansion project and turned the once quaint space into a full restaurant, adding another 1000 square feet. Quickly, The new DaVinci’s became an overwhelming success. Realizing the need for more space, management purchased the entire building and allocated 75% of the space to DaVinci’s. DaVinci’s re-opened in 2010 as a pizzeria, restaurant and party room all under the same roof.
In October of 2012, Hurricane Sandy brought 10 ft of water into the restaurant and caused catastrophic damage. The owners knew how important DaVinci’s was to the neighborhood, so they vowed to rebuild and reopen. Today, the restaurant occupies 4500 square feet of the building. Our re-opening the following year, June of 2013, was bigger and better than ever. Currently DaVinci’s is separated into a beautiful pizzeria and houses a full bar and restaurant with a catering space for private parties. DaVinci’s is now one of the finest restaurants in the Island Park, Long Beach area, boasting the best, most authentic pizza and service.
